New World “FPX: Badlands”

This is Sand Bands, a town where daredevil racers come to gather.
Water and Sardine Cans are precious around here.
Every day, racers come to the wasteland in search of them.

Ruling over this wasteland is the roughneck gang known as the Mad Riders.

What they put on are dangerous races where nothing is off-limits.
The winners get precious water and Sardine Cans to survive.

But there’s also a troublesome one lurking in these Badlands.
It’s the “Barrel Mouse.”

There’s a rather dangerous-looking switch on the seagull’s back.
Hit the switch with an attack, and the barrel soon explodes.

Sand. Fire. Explosions.
No such thing as a normal race here.

This is “Badlands” racing.

Character Introduction

“Crimson Ace: Gear”

He undisputed ace of the roughneck gang “Mad Riders,” and their fastest racer.
His exceptional skill and caring nature have earned him the deep trust of his fellow riders, and he is admired by many.

He was separated from his family at a young age and grew up in Sand Bands.
Now, there’s no one in the wasteland who doesn’t know his name.
Around his waist hangs an old locket pendant that he has treasured since he was young.

“Wasteland Courier: Clutch”

A skilled courier who races across the rugged terrain of Sand Bands with ease.
He’s not particularly interested in the competition itself, and values delivering his cargo and making someone happy.
He usually doesn’t even show up for the races in “FPX: Badlands.”

Inside the old locket pendant he always wears is a cherished photo.
A delivery request brings him into this race.

The Main Gimmick: “Tricks”

In “FPX: Badlands,” you can enjoy the trick actions familiar from “FPX: Snowboarding.”
The more tricks you perform in midair, the faster you’ll go.

Chain Your Tricks and Aim for X Rank!

Your “Run Rank” will be displayed during the race.
Your Run Rank increases based on the points you earn from tricks, boosting your base speed. The highest rank is X!

FPX Tricks Will Be Easier to Play!

To make trick actions more enjoyable for more players, adjustments will be made to make tricks easier to perform and easier to recover from after a failed attempt.
These adjustments will apply to both 『FPX: Snowboarding』 and 『FPX: Badlands』.

• Reduce bounce-back against the slope of the course
• Extend the time window for successfully performing tricks
• Shorten the time spent rolling after failing a trick landing
• When a trick landing fails, a slight speed boost will now be applied based on the number of tricks performed, instead of having no change in speed
