New World [Aqua Wonder] Unveiled!

New world, [Aqua Wonder] has been added!

After diving into the sea in pursuit of a pillar of light, you discover a breathtaking underwater kingdom spreading out before you.
Colorful coral reefs, intersecting currents, and a variety of marine life await.


Ride the ocean currents flowing through the course to swim faster than ever before!

Dive into currents along the way and jump between different currents to keep moving forward.

Use the currents to your advantage and aim for shortcut routes!

Added the “Record Board”

We’ve added the “Record Board,” where you can view your clear records for each course.
Clear a course to earn its postcard.
Complete all four courses in a World to receive a completion reward.

Added the “Finish Time Display” feature

We’ve added the “Finish Time Display” feature, which shows your finish time and the difference from your personal best when you complete a course.
Your personal best is also displayed while waiting for the starting gate to open.

If you own the Black Pass, you can view your best time and the date it was updated for each course on the “Record Board.”
– The display during races is available to all users.

 

– Record Board records and personal best times are reset each season.
– For past seasons, personal best times on the “Record Board” can only be viewed from the Season Summary if you owned the Black Pass during that season, regardless of whether you currently own the Black Pass.

Added the option to choose between two player names on Nintendo Switch

On the Nintendo Switch version, if your Nintendo Switch account is linked to an Epic Games account, you can now choose which player name to display from the following two options:

  • Epic Games account display name
  • Nintendo Switch user nickname

When logging in to the Nintendo Switch version for the first time after Ver. 2.2.0, the player name selection screen will be displayed.

You can change which player name to use at any time from the Settings screen.

The player’s name selection screen will not be displayed if your Epic Games account is not linked.

Your last-equipped Name Plate is now displayed in the Season Summary

Previously, a Name Plate would not be reflected in the Season Summary unless you completed a Tour after equipping it.
Starting from Season 11, the last Name Plate you had equipped will be displayed in the Season Summary.

We apologize for the delay in providing this information, as we should have announced this change before the season transition.

※If the Name Plate displayed in your Season 11 Season Summary is different from the one you intended, we can make an adjustment.

Crystal Rewards Adjustments

With the addition of the “Record Board,” some Crystal rewards will be adjusted, and new Record Board completion rewards will be added.
With the addition of Record Board completion rewards, players will be able to earn more Crystals overall than before.

The adjustments are as follows.

    Reward: 15 Crystals for each World

    Reward: 30 Crystals → 10 Crystals

  • Added 4 courses to the new world “Aqua Wonder”
  • Added new gimmicks “The Current,” “Sardine Can Bubble,” “Pod of Dolphins,” and “Scallops”

Nintendo Switch version

General:

  • Added an option to choose between the Epic Games account display name and Nintendo Switch user nickname as the displayed player name.

Adjustments

All Platforms

General:

  • Adjusted the Season Summary to display the last Nameplate you had equipped.

Race:

  • Moved Beginner Missions to the Menu screen with the addition of the Record Board
  • Renamed “Season Rank” to “Season Summary” on the home screen with the addition of the Record Board
  • Adjusted the size of the ranking display during activities
  • Adjusted the number of Crystals that can be obtained as rewards

Penguin Climbers:

  • Adjusted the behavior of the Red Pendroid
  • Adjusted the display so that player names and voice chat status are no longer shown when playing solo

Bug Fixes

All Platforms

General

  • Fixed an issue where unintended text was displayed when the mouse was focused on the Close button in Important Notices.
  • Other minor fixes

Race:

  • Fixed an issue where a player’s position could roll back depending on the communication status with the server when passing through certain areas.

With this fix, the following four courses, which had been temporarily excluded from the course selection pool, have been added back to the selection pool.

•FPX: Snowboarding – LINE D: THE AVALANCHE

Penguin Climbers:

  • Fixed an issue where meteors would fall inside the cave when players failed to join up.

Nintendo Switch version

  • Fixed an issue where voice chat audio could not be heard until the volume was changed.
