Here are the contents changed during maintenance that occurred on 2/5/2026.

New World [Amazon plate] Unveiled!

The 13th world, [Amazon plate] has been added!

This season’s stage is the Amazon, home to many monkeys.
The monkeys are waiting in the rainforest, along the river, and up in the trees!
Run through four new courses!

When you Attack a Monkey, the Monkey will carry you!In addition, while the Monkey is carrying you, press the Attack button once again to jump out at the timing you choose.
Jump forward all at once or judge your position and jump out.
Swing from one monkey to the next!

You can now create and join parties using an ID!

You can now create or join a party using an ID even if you are not friends.
Previously, creating or joining a party required adding friends and sending invitations from the friend list.
Now, you can easily create or join a party using only an ID.

On the Home screen, press the button below to open the Party Join / Invite screen in a pop-up window.

Note:You can also continue to use friend invitations via your Epic Games account friend list as before.

Voice Chat Feature Now Available!

Voice Chat Feature Now Available!
Party members can now communicate using voice chat.

From the Home Screen, you can access voice chat settings via the Party screen or the “Settings & Support” screen.
During a race, you can open the menu and navigate to the voice chat settings.

In the voice chat settings, you can adjust the volume and change microphone input options.

Note: Voice chat is not available in Private Matches.

You Can Now Play Without Linking an Epic Games Account!

You Can Now Play Without Linking an Epic Games Account!
Previously, registering and linking an Epic Games account was required to play Faaast Penguin, but you can now play without linking an account.

Note:
If you link an Epic Games account, you can use the same game data across multiple platforms (cross-save).
If you link an Epic Games account, you can invite friends to a party using your Epic Games account friend list.
Players who have already been playing Faaast Penguin are currently linked with an Epic Games account.

Faaast Penguin can be played online without a Nintendo Switch Online or PlayStation Plus subscription.

The course “Nightmare Garden” is back

The course “Nightmare Garden” from the world “Bitter Castle,” which had been temporarily removed from the random selection due to an issue, has now been restored.

We have fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to attack seals or obtain sardine cans.
We apologize for the long wait.

Miami Splash world will undergo renewal.

The existing Miami Splash world will undergo renewal.
Note: Worlds that undergo renewal will eventually become available again.

Adjustments

All Platforms

• Due to the addition of button assignment for Push-to-Talk in voice chat, the following key assignments have been changed:
• On the Home screen, the key assignment for the Crystal Shop has been changed from the R3 button to the L3 button.
• On the Settings screen, the key assignment for opening the Support screen has been changed from the R3 button to the L3 button.
• On the Customization screen, the key assignment for the shortcut to the shop for expanding emote slots has been changed from the R3 button to the L3 button.

Bug Fixes

All Platforms

• Fixed an issue where skipping the point acquisition animation for item add-ons on the Results screen could cause the gauge display to differ from the intended display.
• Fixed an issue where the nameplate display could appear incorrectly when creating a Private Room while already in a party.
• Fixed an issue in Private Matches where, if the host was in a dropped-out state from the start, pressing R3 on the Waiting Island could cause the character to fall through the ground.
• Fixed an issue on the course “Nightmare Garden” in the world “Bitter Castle,” where some seals could not be attacked and mackerel cans could not be obtained.
• part of this fix, the course has been re-added to the selection pool.
